The results from last spring’s Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) were released this week. The students who were in grades 3 through 5 in 2015 took the assessment. Out of the 161 grade 3-8 schools in DCPS, Stoddert ranked 13th in english language arts and third in math. The school

Since the addition of the West Wing trailers at Stoddert, the teachers and school administration must park on the street in Glover Park. Many of the Stoddert parents have been kind enough to loan their free DC visitor parking passes to Stoddert staff members so that those parking on the street do not get parking tickets.
Help Syrian refugees with your coats and blankets! Stoddert parent Sara Durkin-Rosen is collecting coats, jackets and blankets for the Syrian refugees. A container for donations will be outside her home at 2445 39th St NW starting this Sunday, November 29th. The drive ends on December 4th. If you’d like to donate money or drop off the donation
Every year around the holidays the PTO hosts a sale of Stoddert clothing and gear. This year’s sale will be December 9th through the 11th. The sale will include sweatshirts, t-shirt, water bottles and more! Visit the calendar for more information and to find the schedule of when the sale will be open.
There will be a pop up farmers’ market Tuesday, November 24th outside of the school at 3:15 until 4:30. We will be selling cranberries and sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving!
