Join us for the annual Stoddert Book Fair!

Shop for your holidays, home, classroom and school library! The annual Stoddert Book Fair is a lot of fun and is the primary tool for getting new, updated, and favorite titles into our classrooms and school library.
This fair would not be possible without the help of parent volunteers. We are looking for parent volunteers from every grade! Please sign up here – many time slots available. Each volunteer will need to be trained on using the software prior to working the fair. The training will be in the library on Monday, December 4th 7:45 – 11:00am. Training should take 10-15 minutes.
Shopping Hours – December 6 – 9th:
Tuesday: 7:30 am – 9:00 am / 3:15 pm – 8:00 pm (NEW later hours!)
Wednesday: 7:30 am – 9:00 am / 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm
Thursday: 7:30 am – 9:00 am / 3:15 pm – 8:00 pm** (NEW later hours!)
Friday: 7:30 am – 9:00 am / 3:15 – 6:00pm
** Books & Crepes Night:
On Thursday Dec. 8th from 4 – 8pm the Holy Crepes food truck will be at Stoddert so that the families can eat dinner and shop for books. Supervised seating will be available in the Stoddert cafeteria starting at 6pm, so that kids can eat while you shop!
Because our school is growing, the book fair will be held both in the lower lobby AND the library. Books geared toward Pre-K – 2nd grade reading levels will be downstairs and titles for readers at the 3rd – 5th grade levels will be upstairs. Children are welcome to visit, browse and buy in both areas!
At this year’s fair, there will be a table set up for a free book exchange so that every student can leave with a book. We are currently seeking donations for the book exchange. Please consider cleaning out your book shelves and donating your gently used books to the collection bin at the front entrance of school.
New this year is a dedicated time and day for students in Stoddert’s Aftercare program to browse the book fair while chaperoned. Please send your child with cash, ideally in a sealed envelope with his/her name and the amount enclosed on the day as outlined in the schedule below:
- Tuesday – 1st and 4th graders
- Wednesday – 2nd and 5th graders
- Thursday -Pre-K, K and 3rd graders
