As you may or may not know, a majority of Stoddert’s parking lot is filled with our “West Wing” (4th grade classrooms, Spanish, ELL and Science). This forces many teachers and staff to park on the street. The problem is that most teachers do not live in Zone 3 which means their cars can’t legally park near Stoddert all day. If you are a Zone 3 resident we are asking that you apply for a 2020 Visitor Parking Pass (“VPP”) and donate it to the Stoddert front office which will coordinate distribution to teachers.
How to Register for Visitor Parking Pass: To register for and lend to Stoddert your Visitor Parking Pass online, please follow these 8 easy steps:
Step 1: Click on the “Register for 2020 VPP” button at the bottom of the webpage. (//vpp.ddot.dc.gov/vpp/Default.aspx)
Step 2: Enter your address number and street name only — without using commas or periods — and then click the “Verify Address” button. (When registering for a VPP, your street name must be spelled completely out.) The street, road, avenue, drive or place can be abbreviated with no commas or periods. Example: 55 M Street SE or 55 Porter St NW
Step 3: Find your address on the list that appears, click on it, and then hit the “Next” button on the bottom of the webpage.
