Stoddert hosted its second-annual technology and S.E.M. expo to introduce parents to the technology and enrichment learning going on in the classroom at Stoddert. Parents with their children were invited to learn and explore the various programs in math, science, reading and so much more. They were also able to see some of the projects the students have been working on for their S.E.M (School-wide Enrichment Model).
Many of the subscriptions to online learning programs are paid for by the PTO with dues and donations. Parents were also introduced to DCPS Office 365 and Clever, which are in use for all students to manage their online learn programs. More information about these programs can be found in the online resources page of our website.
A special thank you to Principal Bryant, Assistant Principal Villegas, Mr. Scott, Ms. Thompson, Coach Ricky our custodial staff, and all of the many parents and faculty who worked so hard to make this event possible. In addition, there were many student volunteers whose efforts were greatly appreciated!
The night was a true reflection of our enriching and supportive Stoddert community!
