To help support DCPS’ new math program, Eureka Math, in use at Stoddert, the PTO recently purchased over 100 different math specific supplies for each classroom.
More commonly referred to as “manipulatives,” these new learning resources will help students to better understand and practice their math skills. The supplies include hands-on learning tools like dotted dice, faction cubes, money counting kits, blank dry erase boards, bead strings, magnetic numbers, yard sticks, place value stripes and so much more.
It is because of the dues contributions from parents and generous donations that the PTO is able to support each and every student at Stoddert. The PTO is committed to supporting students currently at Stoddert, so that parents can have confidence that their dues and donations are benefiting their students.
If you would like to pay your dues or make an additional donation, you can donateĀ online right here.
