As recent events have shown us, DCPS intends to eliminate our beloved Fillmore Arts Center after the upcoming 2016-17 school year. On Wednesday, June 15th, Stoddert will host a promotion ceremony for the fifth graders and their families. This event will be 9:30am in the gym. Everyone is invited as we send our oldest students onto life after Stoddert!
The Stoddert PTO was able to purchase 30 new laptops and a mobile cart for the school to help with technology in the classroom. The DCPS Citywide Science Fair was held on Saturday, June 4th, and two Stoddert students were recognized as winners: Mara K. (Mr. Dingledine’s classroom) received 3rd place in the Zoology Division. Tommie P. (Mrs. Marquez’s classroom) received 1st place in the Physics Division and the GRAND PRIZE for best overall project for the entire district. Congrats
