Every year, the Stoddert community celebrates its diverse international culture with a series of recognition events designed to teach the students about our international community. This year’s international celebrations will include:
May 26th and 27th – The Pre-K and K classes will visit the Russian Embassy for a field trip.
June 1st – The Pre-K through 2nd grades will have a presentation and movie screening from the Embassy of Finland.
June 2nd – International Day
- All parents, siblings and caregivers are invited to Stoddert’s annual international day celebration. There will be an assembly at 9 am until 11:15 am including a parade of international fashion, class dances, and performances from the Russian Embassy and the Chinese Embassy. At 1:30 pm the students will tour around the school and visit different themed tables

11:00 – 11:10 Chinese Embassy – dance, poem, and piano performance.
11:12- Classes exit the gym for lunch and recess
1:30 – 3:00 Students visit the countries represented by different classes.
June 2nd – International Night
- All Stoddert parents, students families and friends are invited to the PTO’s international night potluck at 6pm. This event will be in the kindergarten patio and everyone is asked to bring an international dish or family favorite dish to share. (Rain location: gym)

June 6 or 8th – Presentation to the 4th grade from the Embassy of Egypt.
June 13 – The Ambassador of Costa Rica will present to the 3rd through 5th grades.
