Stoddert will kick start two different workout programs designed to get kids moving in the morning before school and give them an energy boost to start the day! The free workout programs are open to all Stoddert students in all grades and will be held from 8:00 am to 8:30 am.
Stoddert’s programs will be run by Coach Wagner. There is space for a maximums of 50 students. The program starts at 8:00 am sharp and no one will be permitted after 8:10 am.
Starting March 7, 2016, the BOKS program will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays in the gym. The BOKS program stands for “build our kids’ success” and is designed to give kids a body and brain boost that will set them up for a day of learning.
Starting April 13, 2016, on Wednesdays and Thursdays our second school physical activity initiative will be an outdoor game day that meets in the gym at 8am. The program will then move out to the baseball field due to chorus practice. If there is inclement weather (such as fain or temperatures below 32 degrees with windchill) the game days on Wednesdays and Thursdays will be cancelled.
Students who wish to participate must sign up and turn in a permission slip. Click here to download the permission slip, or pick one up at the table in the lobby starting Monday February 29th. Please turn the permission slip into Coach Wagner or Terri Thompson.
We look forward to having your kids out there moving and exercising! Please see or email Coach Wagner with any questions about both programs.
