Principal Marjorie Cuthbert
My career has been devoted to public education. I have worked in both urban and suburban school systems. I have served as a teacher, guidance counselor, district level director of student services, adjunct professor, project director of federal grants, and public school principal. My undergraduate and master’s degrees are from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. I hold a Ph.D. in educational guidance and counseling from the University of Florida and have acquired 30 additional credits in educational leadership leading to licensure as a K-12 principal. All these positions have involved work with learners of all abilities and skill levels, minority students, English language learners, students with disabilities, and Section 504 students. From all of these experiences, my energies remain directed toward working in a school setting — identifying needs, obtaining resources, and implementing sound educational practices to ensure growth for students, teachers, and parents. This is the role of a school principal, your principal, and I will give you the best that I have.
