The process varies depending on whether you are an
In-Boundary family or an Out-of-Boundary
family.
The
school is part of the Out-of-Boundary Lottery for
Pre-Kindergarten. For admission to Pre-Kindergarten,
students must turn four years old by September 30, 2007.
For Out-of-Boundary admission to the school, preference
will be given to siblings of current
students.
The
process is as follows:
In-Boundary
Registration for Pre-Kindergarten
• Complete an
interest form and parent questionnaire
now
• Between
February 5th and 16th, submit a Pre-Kindergarten
Application (including residency verification) directly to
the school
• Should the
interest exceed space, a lottery will be held including all
applications submitted by February 16,
2007
• Submit a
DCPS Enrollment Form, Residency Verification, and Medical
Records between July 16 and August 17,
2007
• If
necessary, a waiting list will be maintained throughout the
summer
In-Boundary
Registration for Kindergarten-Fifth
Grade
•
Complete an interest form and parent questionnaire
now
• Submit a
DCPS Enrollment Form, Residency Verification, and Medical
Records between July 16 and August 17,
2007
Out-of-Boundary
Admission through the Lottery for
Pre-Kindergarten
• Submit the
DCPS Out-of-Boundary Application between January 29th and
February 28th – the application will be available
online at http://www.k12.dc.us/dcps/outofbounds/outofboundhome.html

• Parents
will be notified of acceptance in the
Spring
• Parents of
accepted students submit a DCPS Enrollment Form, Residency
Verification,
and Medical Records between July 16 and
August 17, 2007
• A waiting
list will be maintained throughout the

Out-of-Boundary
Admission through the Special Program for
Kindergarten-Fifth Grade
• Complete an
interest form and parent questionnaire by February 28,
2007
• All
Out-of-Boundary families completing the interest form and
parent questionnaire will be given equal opportunity for
selection and a school-based lottery will be held for grade
levels in which interest exceeds space
available
• Parents
will be notified of acceptance in the
Spring
• Parents of
accepted students submit a DCPS Enrollment Form, Residency
Verification,
and Medical Records between July 16 and
August 17, 2007
• A waiting
list will be maintained throughout the summer and into the
early fall
