The last day of school for the 2010-2011 school year has been changed from Friday, June 17, to Monday, June 20. Friday the 17th will now be a full day of school. On Monday, June 20th the students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.

Start your Saturday with a visit to Glover Park’s own farmer’s market at Hardy, every Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Highlights from this week’s market in the post. The market is brought to you by DC Greens, a local 501(c)(3) organization. Proceeds from the market support school gardens (they sponsored the teaching garden at Stoddert!).
Come see and be inspired by the student art and performances at Fillmore’s end-of-year Arts Show (May 20) and Spring Concert (May 23).
General PTA meeting; send in your enrollment forms now; Science Fair projects are due June 6; Summer Camp application deadline is extended to May 25.
The last day to enroll in DCPS summer school programs is tomorrow, April 29. Links to the DCPS site, forms, and other information are in the post.
