Stoddert Earns “Reward” Status, Good-bye from Dr. Cuthbert
Hello to All,
I just wanted to let you know that, through the hard work of our teachers, your continued involvement, and the students’ doing their best, Stoddert ES has now earned the highest status on the new rating system for DCPS schools. Under the Office of the State Superintendent for Education’s (OSSE) waiver from No Child Left Behind (NCLB) that was recently granted, there is a new classification system (replaces Annual Yearly Progress), with “Reward” being the top of five categories - Stoddert ES is now a “Reward” school.
Congratulations to all for dedication and hard work! I have loved being a part of all the excellence at Stoddert ES. I wish you continued success and know the future is bright for this wonderful community.
