Reminders for Stoddert grads attending Hardy MS in 2012-13
We were just thinking of the Stoddert alumni who’ll be attending Hardy MS in the fall, and wanted to pass along the useful information we’ve gotten from Hardy’s website, PTA and from conversations with neighbors:
- If you haven’t officially enrolled, do so as soon as possible. Everything you need is here. You can also find what you need on the DCPS website.
- Just in case you haven’t started work on your summer assignments, here they are. Students are also encouraged to participate in the DCPL “Own the Night” reading program.
- There will be a meet and greet for new 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-graders on Thursday, August 2; 6:30 p.m. at Hardy.
- Course selection forms for rising 7th- and 8th-graders are available.
- Student schedules and the opening school packet will be mailed by Monday, August 13.
- What to wear (and what not to wear).
- Get involved with the Hardy PTA! Learn more here, and fill out a survey indicating the most convenient times for you to attend meetings.
