The fifth grade will have a party to celebrate their upcoming promotion on June 10, in the gym, from 2:15 – 3:15 P.M. To make the afternoon complete, DPR will host an end-of-year dance for all ages from 4:00–5:30 P.M. We’ll post more details as we get them from the organizers.
DCPS Acting Chancellor Kaya Henderson accepted the Hardy principal selection committee’s recommendation and announced that Dr. Mary Stefanus will be the new principal at Hardy Middle School.

Having received the 2010 census results, the Subcommittee on Redistricting has begun the process of drafting the plan for the boundaries of the eight wards. There will be a public roundtable on redistricting on June 1, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wilson Building.
