As the results of the snowstorm on Wednesday amply demonstrate, we need our news in a timely fashion. On Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, D.C. Public Schools will open two hours late. Students and teachers should report two hours after their regular start time. Essential school personnel should report on time. Administrative offices will open on time. Further updates, if needed, will be posted on the http://dcps.dc.gov website.

DCPS has closed all afterschool classes and therefore Stoddert will NOT be providing service this afternoon. Please make arrangements to pick up your children at 3:15 PM.
Update on DCPS evening events: All DCPS athletic events are cancelled; all evening programming, including STAY schools, are cancelled; the College Readiness Community Forum Meeting scheduled this evening at Eastern SHS is postponed until a later date.
