Please join me in congratulating all of our entrants, who put so much time and thought into their submissions. Congratulations! The judges chose [...]

This is the last year that Anastasia Miller and Jennifer McLennan can volunteer their time to Stoddert PTA communications. We need new volunteers by the end of July to take over sending email announcements every week (every two-three weeks over the summer) and updating the website.
We have compiled a survey for parents. You can find it online at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/StoddertParentSurvey. It is an anonymous survey.
The results will be used to build our Comprehensive Plan for next year to meet the needs of our students, parents, teachers, and community.
A generous donation has been made to the DC Youth Orchestra Program in honor of the memory of John Corby. The donation will allow The Program to provide at least 100 scholarships for the 2010 summer session, to students in Washington, DC .
Winding down the year, but still so much to do! Congratulations to our students on Awards Day—promotion ceremonies for the fifth grade—only a few days left to register before the offices move—please help Stoddert improve by taking a short survey—please take your lost-and-found items home.
The DC State Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled public meeting on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.
