Little Chili Family Fun Night at the Russian Embassy
It’s a busy and exciting time at Stoddert! We’re getting ready to move back into our permanent school and start new traditions once we do. The Building Our Community Brick by Brick campaign—to raise money to support our students in the new school and bring us all together during our transition—is fully underway. During all this, though, we want to hold onto our wonderful traditions—like CHILI!
This year, we will gather on March 12, 2010, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Russian Embassy for a Little Chili Family Fun Night. We’ll have games for the kids, a small auction, and—of course—chili to eat. Auction items will include classroom art projects, teacher outings, and a limited number of “big ticket items” like our annual wine table.
Why a Little Chili rather than our usual Big Chili? During this transition year we don’t want to compete with our Brick campaign, but we do want to celebrate our community. We know this evening will be a wonderful way for all of us to come together to enjoy, have fun, and share the beauty of the Russian Embassy.
We hope to see you on March 12—and don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine!
