Cookie fundraiser kicks off

DAVID’S COOKIES
Winter Fundraiser
January 26 through February 10, 2010

Dear Stoddert Students, Families, and Faculty,

Delicious!  Hot cookies on a cold winter day sound really good.

We invite you to participate in our Winter Fundraiser featuring scrumptious David’s Gourmet Cookie dough.  If you were at last week’s PTA meeting, you got to try out a sample.  There are ten types of cookie dough, shapes, and sizes from which to choose — from traditional chocolate chip to a giant 12” message cookie including frosting.

We have designated a very special school-related activity for the bulk of the proceeds of this fundraiser.  At the end of every school year, the fifth graders go on an educational and fun two-night camping trip to Echo Hill Outdoor School on the Chesapeake Bay in Worton, Maryland (please peruse their website at www.ehos.org), and the proceeds will help fund their trip costs.  The fifth graders will be very active in this fundraiser by assisting with assembling, distributing, and collecting the order forms and by working hard to sell dough in order to raise dough!

HOW TO HELP

*  Tempt your friends, relatives, and co-workers by showing them the David’s Cookies catalog.
*  Remember Valentine’s Day is February 14, and you’ll want to make sure you have sweets on hand after all that chocolate has been consumed!

IMPORTANT DETAILS

*  Please, no unsupervised door-to-door selling.
*  Collect the money when you take the order.
*  Cash or checks and money orders made payable to Stoddert Elementary PTA.
*  Include seller’s name in the memo section of your checks.
*  Please fill out top and bottom of order form completely, with your name and number clearly visible.
*  Return the order form, payment and envelope to your teacher on or before Wednesday, February 10.  (Disregard instructions asking you to keep the top portion of the order form.)

SPECIAL NOTE: As the products are frozen and perishable and WE CANNOT STORE FROZEN PRODUCTS, all orders must be picked up on the announced delivery day.  If you are unable to pick up your order(s) on the specified day, please make arrangements for someone else to pick up your order(s).  Stoddert PTA and David’s, Inc. are not responsible for frozen orders left unrefrigerated at school.

AWARDS
Each Seller selling 12 units of David’s Cookie Dough will receive a complimentary 13th unit of product free from the overage of the order delivered.
