New school, new natural playgrounds and curriculum gardens

At the PTA meeting on November 12, Julie Schneider updated us on the explorations of a group of parents, teachers, and community members on the potential for integrating natural playgrounds into the new Stoddert campus. Natural playgrounds and other uses of outdoor space create rich opportunities for curriculum development (in science, history, creative arts, and more) as well as important time for students to spend outside.
