The Thanksgiving holiday inspired Mrs. Moisan to assign some of Mr. O’Beirne’s fifth graders a very creative perspective/viewpoint essay. The objective: “Imagine that you are a turkey. Lori Milstein, Stoddert parent and PTA volunteer, is having a holiday sale to showcase her art glass. There will be two events, each at 2450 Huidekoper Pl, NW in Glover Park.

On Friday, November 20, at 1:30 p.m., Artist Teacher Fellow Karen Daniels and Fillmore Arts Center will host a Multicultural Dance Festival. Many of Stoddert’s third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders will be featured in the performance, along with students from Garrison, Hyde, Truesdell, and West Schools.
