Kindergarten welcome (Mrs. Mundell)

Hi!

My name is Mrs. Mundell and I will be your new kindergarten teacher this year. I can’t wait to meet you. I hope that you are as excited as I am about this year. We’re going to have a blast together!

I hope that you have had a wonderful summer. I look forward to hearing about what you did. I enjoyed spending some time with my family, reading, traveling, and catching up on a lot of odd jobs at home.

Are you looking forward to kindergarten? We will be studying many exciting things. We will learn how to write our letters and numbers, read some of your favorite books, and spell simple words. In Math we will learn to add and subtract, count to 100, and go shopping with your own “money” at the Mundell General Store! We will even go on a few field trips. Sound like fun? I am eager to get to know you and help you to become the best student that you can be. I will see you soon. I can hardly wait!
